My 'Piper'

He whispered. i stirred.
He spoke. i blinked.
He sang... and He woke me up
He woke me up from static.
This child shall sleep no more.

He called me by my name
A name that only he knows.
And everytime He calls me
Everytime He sings,
Everytime his voice enters me
More of Him remains...
To take over every part of me
Entranced, Entrapped, Enslaved.

Like an unborn baby to its mother
Like a devdasi to her god
Of this world i would'nt want much
Of this life i'd want nothing
If only He'd do me the honor
Of singing his sweet song
i'd hang on to every note
Quiet like the children of Hamelin
Even if it'd bring me to repose
